I'm a book blogger and I am also a book blog reader -- always happy to discover new book blogs and points of view.
After buying my own domain a while ago I started thinking what would be the best thing I could do with it (besides hosting my blog, of course). After a while I had what I thought was the greatest idea of them all: to start a book blog directory! That way I could help the community plus learn a bit more about web programming, it was perfect! I couldn't believe no one else has thought about it before!
Well, it took me only one post on a book blogs forum to find out how wrong I was to think my idea was novel. There already were book blog directories out there (you can find links to the ones I now know about on the Links page). Discovering this made me want to quit (I wanted to be useful not just a copycat). And then I realized that, perhaps, one more book blog directory wouldn't actually hurt. After all, one can never have too many links to his or her blog (think more means of discovery, think PageRank).
So, without further ado, you are looking at the result of my ruminations. I hope you'll like it and most of all that you'll find it actually helpful :)
Want to be a part of it? You can either use the submit page or write me an email at kay[at] kaysbookshelf [dot]com.
It would be a nice thing and I would really appreciate it if you too linked to the Book Blog Directory, to help it grow and get discovered. You can link to it any way you see fit, either with a text link or with one of the badges.
