Tattooed Books
Tattooed Books

I am a tattooed, book-reviewing, librarian-in-training. While in the public library system, I work primarily with teens. We seem to get along so well because I never grew out of reading YA. I love it and everything it stands for. Growing up, there wasn't that much to choose from, but now it seems there is a new book every few days that I want to read. I decided to put my voice into words and spread the good book news faster. I currently participate in a few memes from around the blogosphere (In My Mailbox, Waiting on Wednesday, etc), host author interviews, and giveaways.

The Blair Book Project

The Blair Book Project is a new book blog I created with the influence of my friends from goodreads. It's a new way for me to share my passion for books. I don't exactly take my book reviews as actual "reviews" since I write them down not always constructively or with conceptual criticism but rather in a way of expressing my feelings about a certain book. I love the feeling of getting lost in the world a book can offer and i think it's one of the most fun and simplest ways to find serenity.

The Joy of the Written Word
The Joy of the Written Word

Here's what I say on my blog: "I am a Book Blogger! Reading and Reviewing Books of various genres, including spiritual, but no horror types!! That would be too scary for me!! The books I review will be of my own choosing; writing requested reviews when the opportunity presents itself! I do not, and will not, receive any compensation for my reviews - my reviews are simply my opinions. I love reading books, talking about books, looking at books, and now blogging about books!! And sometimes, just for a change, my posts may be general musings, taken from Life itself rather than from a Book!" I consider myself as having a lot to learn, as a Newbie Blogger! I have been blogging since July/11.
